Semiconductors and Materials Science Research Center
A global scientific partnership and innovation center in the field of semiconductor physics and materials science.
Who We Are?
The Center of Semiconductors and Materials Science is an independent, self-governing scientific research and organizational entity. Our Center has the status of a full legal entity and operates as a non-governmental organization. Being fully autonomous in its scientific-strategic decisions, the Center is guided by the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, international scientific conventions, legal norms, and principles of scientific ethics in its operations.
Our Goals and Activities
Conducting fundamental and applied research in semiconductor physics, materials science, nanomaterials, composite materials, and triple and multi-compound alloys.
Accelerating global scientific integration by organizing international scientific conferences, congresses, and symposiums around the world.
Establishing independent scientific journals and monographs; ensuring the inclusion of local scientific works in Scopus, Web of Science, Crossref, Google Scholar, and other international indexing databases. Maximizing digital visibility through our ROR ID and official DOI policy.
Providing academic mentorship for young scientists conducting research in semiconductor and materials science through special internal grants, scholarship programs, and summer schools.
Participating as an independent partner in Horizon Europe and other international consortia, developing prototypes for the industrial application of scientific results, and realizing technology transfer.
Scientific Committee and Academic Integrity
The supreme governing body of the Center is the International Scientific Council (ISC), consisting of renowned local and foreign scientists. The Ethics Committee, operating under the Center, fully monitors the plagiarism check of scientific works, reviewer objectivity, and transparency of research.
